9th ANNUAL ACADIA STUDENT CONFERENCE (2017-18)

The Economics Society at Acadia University is looking for students from Atlantic Canadian universities who are interested in presenting at our 9th Annual Student Conference.

Economics, Business, Political Science and Sociology students of any age are encouraged to participate. Presentations are to be approximately 15 minutes in length, and include projects and essays from upper year classes, as well as honours theses. Awards will be given to the best presentations!

The conference will take place at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia on February 10, 2018. Participants are responsible for lunch and supper (a morning snack is provided), as well as transportation to Acadia.

Interested individuals are asked to send an email to econsociety@acadiau.ca with the following information:

  • First and last name
  • Name of university and department
  • Presentation title
  • Brief abstract

A conference program will be provided in January. Please feel free to contact us at the above email address with questions concerning accommodations, dining and transportation.

In previous years, our conference has been a great way to learn about interesting topics and network with peers from other universities in the region. We hope you join us in continuing this tradition!

Sincerely,

The Economics Society at Acadia University
