Call for Papers
The Economics Society at Acadia University is looking for students from Atlantic Canadian universities who are interested in presenting at our 10th annual Student Research Conference.
We welcome presentations from Economics, Business, Political Science and Sociology students. Presentations are to be approximately 15 minutes in length, and could include projects and essays from upper year classes, as well as honours theses. Awards will be given to the best presentations!
The conference will take place in the K.C. Irving Centre Auditorium at Acadia University, in Wolfville, Nova Scotia on February 9, 2019. Participants are responsible for lunch and supper (a morning snack is provided), as well as transportation to and from Acadia.
Interested individuals are asked to send an email to econsociety@acadiau.ca with the following information by January 20th, 2019:
· First and last name
· Name of university and department
· Presentation title
· Brief abstract
A conference program will be provided in January. Please feel free to contact us at the above email address with questions concerning accommodations, dining and transportation.
In previous years, our conference has been a great way to learn about interesting topics and network with peers from other universities in the region. We hope you join us in celebrating the 10th anniversary of our conference!
