AAAE 2018 Student Panel

The Atlantic Association of Applied Economists (AAAE) hosted a student panel on March 23, 2018.  Honours student Doug Spafford took part in the panel, where Atlantic applied economics experts from various government departments and agencies listened and gave feedback on undergraduate student research.

“I presented my economics thesis on social capital and the well-being of Indigenous peoples. We also had a round table discussion about the economic issues that these people were currently working on. It was an awesome opportunity to hear a government perspective on my work, as well as hear about issues important to the Atlantic economies.”
